We bought these 6 months ago, and our kids, almost 2 & 3, really enjoy these cards. They quickly learned the pictures and capital letters. Now we are working on lower case letters in the deck (we didn't rush this step as to avoid confusion). Like any good flash card, the design is simple enough that you can hold your hand over the picture or the letter to help child's brain learn in different ways. TIP: Right after a meal, while they're relaxed and sitting at the table, is a great time to get out the cards. We usually go through 1/2 to 1 alphabet set at a time, just until their attention starts to wander. Enjoy!

The cards are durable enough unless you plan on purposely tearing them. Cool pictures and large enough letters.

These flash cards are great for the price. They are flimsy and easily bent, so you have to control them but they are still helping my 18-month old daughter. Because there is both the lower and upper case with the same pictures, I've started her with matching pictures out of a group with them. It's a second way to use them as a learning tool.
