American Indian Jewelry I, is an excellent source for anyone wanting to get a basic overview of Native American artists. They are arranged alphabetically for easy location, and there are many photographs included. A wonderful overview of Indian jewelry in beautiful, full color helps to show the details of the differeces in syles crafted by the individual tribes. A wonderful source of information for anyone wanting to gain an understanding of Native American Jewelry, and the artist's who design and create it.

An essential for any collector of contemporary Native American jewelry, supplementing Barton Wright's 1989 "Hallmarks of the Southwest." Great color plates depicting a variety of types and styles. Would like to have an index of hallmarks, or at least pictures of them rather than just verbal description.
