In "Basketberry Blues," Miss Spider's little buglets are playing one of their favorite sports --- a version of basketball known as basketberry. Some of them are really good at it, but Spinner doesn't feel he has any game at all. He's put himself in the position of scorekeeper, but it's obvious he'd like to give the game a shot. Miss Spider assigns Dragon to be Spinner's personal coach. Dragon's quite good at basketberry, so Miss Spider is sure that he can help Spinner out. Dragon tries, but doesn't have much success. He tries out a plan to trick Spinner into thinking he's good, but learns that sometimes honesty brings out true talent. Miss Spider is an underappreciated book series, and especially underappreciated as a television show. But if you or your kids like the TV show, or sports, then you'll like this book too.
