The "how to" portion of this book is rather generic; however, the insights of various careers is very informative. The specific guides put out by FabJob are great-- full of advice, links and the day-to-day details of the job. This is informative because sometimes things seem rather glamorous until one encounters all the minutia that the job actually entails. The people at FabJob have been prompt and helpful when contacted and I recieved everything quickly and without incident. Overall, I find the specific guides more helpful than this book, unless you are looking for a general overview of many differnt career choices.

The title to the book tells it all - you can learn how to get your dream job fast! Like a number of the other reviewers I found the book very helpful in determining what I wanted to do. Overall the book provides great information that is straight-forward and easy to read. The style of the writing is encouraging while remaining practical and realistic. It really shows how you can reach for your dream and obtain it. Also the book contains numerous additional tips and "Fab Facts" that are interesting, insightful and encouraging. Well worth the price! I read this book eagerly. I have been struggling to find a job suitable to my experience. I am not one of those baby boomers who are retiring. I need to work till I am 65. Ageism abounds in the workplace. This book offered me new insights to continue on, dream my job. I will never take a junk job again. Its upward and up for me. Thank you for the new motivation.
