I've read Fall of Reach and First Strike so far of the Halo books, and they are awesome. Nylund does an excellent job in his storytelling. I'm really looking forward to more of his Halo books, and may even try one of his non-Halo ones.

i never give five stars. this is 4.8 stars rounded. so far i have seen nothing but good reveiws. the action is awsome. at the very begining it gets interesting. telling how before he became the last known spartan the master cheif (real name is jhon) is leader of a squad of 30 spartans. it foucuses on a different spartan named fred. they are sent on a mission to help fight against the covenent forces on reach. master cheif takes 2 other spartans and boards an enemy ship while fred takes the other 26 to the planets serface to defend generators. contents: blood and gore violence langauge

This is a great book, it explains so much about the Halo universe, yet it leaves so much to the imagination, as well as other question which I hope some day will get answered.
