Great book for someone needing to get started playing slide guitar. Short easy samples, with a cd to hear them as they should be played. Would highly recommend.

This is a good book for introducing yourself to slide and techniques. It will show you the standard open tunings and scales as well as a number of songs to put them to use. As with all of the books I have experience with, you'll need to do your homework to take it to the next level. Having a basic understanding of theory and capo use will make this easier.

Like all the Fretboard Roadmaps, this is a great reference for the slide guitar.
