I saw this in my local Border's Bookstore; couldn't pick it up at the time due to lack of cash. But this IS a Public Wish List, so if you know me and decide you want to get me a present... welll... *Looking down modestly and tracing invisible designs on the tabletop with a well-manicured fingernail... * ;-* I also recommend the "Spill it, Sister" private journal and the "They Hated To spread gossip" address book. The "Make your own damn dinner" and "It's a caserole, silly!" refrigerator magnets are good, too. Enjoy!

If you're a fan of Anne Taintor's saucy vintage illustrations, you need to purchase this book. It includes all of her most famous pieces, as well as many other illustrations I've never seen before. This books will also make a great gift for any glamorous girl in your life. I absolutely love it!

This book is the most horrific laothful book I've ever seen. I find myself a man of good humor (yes the review is from a man) but after going through this book I can nothing but feel sorry for Anne, the author. I am so sorry that life has left her so bitter and hollow that the cartoons might bring her comfort and/or humor. But maybe that is where life has gotten for both her and a lot of america's women. The last page sums it up ... "alone at last". From the bottom of my heart, I feel sorry for them all.
