Excellent book on hunting, observing and preserving Mule Deer. The biological data on mortality, rut, and winter kill is easy to understand and quite useful. Much of this may also apply to other species of deer.

This is one of the best books I have encountered on this subject. It is very specific for Mule deer, but the information can be applied to other species as well. The book deals with how to get a big buck, not just any buck.

Good book with lots of how to info and other tactics for hunting smarter. Prothero is one of those authors who is a hunter first and author 2nd--In other words, he's the real deal.
