I ordered this coloring book for my mom. She is in the nursing home and loves to color. I thought she would get a kick out of the Old-Time fashions. She loves it! Thanks Amazon!

Combine your love of fashion history and "coloring books" with this lovely Dover publication that will take you down memory lane with authentic illustrations based on actual clothing sold through Sears in the early 1900's. Children and adults will treasure this special book with 32 pages to make your very own! Recommended.

I am not a huge fan of coloring books. The illustrations in this one are not very exciting, but they do appear to be historically authentic, so it has some educational value. The best thing about this book, however, is that Dover allows the buyer very limited reproduction rights, so I was able to copy a few pages out of it for a class studying the history of clothing without having to write for permission or worry about violating the copyright.
