Honestly, I was hoping for a more insightful and comprehensive guide to becoming a designer (as the title and description imply). However, this is more like a booklet - very short with very surface-level information. Could be good for a high school student who is curious about what the profession is like, but as an informed career changer, I didn't find anything in this book that I hadn't already read on the ASID website or in other publications. But, like I said, it's a good introduction if you know very little about this field.
