I was not sure what I expected, but this book has none the less not delivered it. Mr. Ball uses most of the pages on lists of do's and don'ts, to a level where it sometimes becomes comical: Don't sit with your elbows on the table, do cover your tatoos etc. Granted, there are some points in the little book, but parts of it translate to - Do spend your time serving others as much as possible - Do forget all about having some kind of personality - Do spend much more time on work than you'd ever imagine, taking away focus from you private life It might be that I'm too european for this americanised book, or primarily have worked in more "open" companies than Mr. Ball, but if you follow his advice, you'll become a archetype of the grey, dull and anonymous worker in a large corp. My current company employes over 50.000 persons, and I've yet to see the need for all the rules Mr. Bull presents at any level in the organisation, so I think it's overdone quite a lot.

I needed this book for a training I was going to be doing through my work. Not only did the book arrive quickly, it was an easy read so I was able to get through the book quickly to learn what I needed for the training. Very useful and informative.
