Well,It has certain techniques that are different. The Authors's color and mathematical appraoches are very helpful if you want to make butterflies.I was hoping for inspiration and more elaborationa as to how to expand the ideas, and it is not there, unless I spend alot of time making her designs, and cutting thme apart afterwards.I did not really like this book.Soory for the mediocre reveiw, but I am not very impressed.

Well,It has certain techniques that are different. The Authors's color and mathematical approaches are very helpful if you want to make butterflies.I was hoping for inspiration and more elaborationaas to how to expand the ideas into mandalas, and it is not there, unless I spend alot of time making her designs, and cutting them apart afterwards.I did not personally like this book.Sorry for the mediocre reveiw, but I am not very impressed with it...

I did not like this book, the samples depicted were cliched, and I was dissappointed in the lack of imagination by the author. I took a couple of looks through it,and sent it back to Amazon. I don't recommend it unless you are someone who likes repeating another's designs. This book will not make you into a better quiltmaker.Sorry to sound so negative, but there are so many other books out there on quilting "in the round." A lot of them are on Amazon.
