More would be gained by simply going with your spouse to see the movie "Fireroof". The book has some helpful ideas though.

When I first saw the title of this book, I was doubtful that there were divorce lawyers who genuinely wanted to see couples save their marriage. After all, divorce is their business and how they make a living. I was pleasantly surprised at the sincerity of the book and the author's desire to help couple's stay married. I felt it was a good piece of work with some good tips. I did not find the book to be as interesting as I was hoping for. But its a good read.
