Every year traditional businesses set aside time for Strategic Planning. If a company has a CEO, her principal job is to foster strategic thinking. If the business community understands the importance of Strategic Planning, why don't lawyers. Lawyers were never taught to operate businesses and don't take the time to take management coursed to learn how to do this. Using this book as a resouce will help lawyers to understand and implement these concepts. The book has a great table of contents and is written in a style that can be easily read and understood - no jargon. While it would be best to read the entire book, you can read it on a section by section basis depending on what your particular needs are at any one moment. Without a Strategic Plan, its unlikely that you will know what tactics you want to use and you won't be very accurate in deciding what your goals will be. This book will eliminate these problems for you.
