Having worked out all my life, I wanted something new. I can't afford the classes and videos were hard to choose from. Being new to the whole Pilates thing, I really like the idea of just listening to the audio and not feeling the need to watch video which throws off my form. The cards are a great reference with the photos and the tips. Now I recognize a lot of things I see in the classes so I feel the content is current. It progresses nicely and I can't wait to get to the advanced moves and to be able to do a whole routine on my own.

I too would love to see an advanced level I have her book and use it to enhance a few of the exercises to bring it up to a more lengthy workout and a little higher challenge. Overall I am very pleased and have recommended it to many others

This scored points for me because I have stuck with the program for 18 months with good results in terms of gains in flexibility and core strength and overall wellbeing- and at a fraction of the cost of pilates classes. At first, I found the detailed breakdown of the exercise steps at a slow rate to be immensely helpful. Furthermore the cards gave me reassurance and complemented the cd well. Ms Siler uses a very calm, warm encouraging tone of voice which helps greatly. There were 2 classes included : one beginner and one intermediate level-- I found both easy to fit into my daily routine as they were concise,targeted- and time- efficient without being intimidating and demonstrated good results. I took my time progressing to the intermediate level and never felt overwhelmed. Now I really enjoy working out with the classes on my mp3 player and I can take my daily workout with me wherever I go.
