I bought this book when I first began coaching High School soccer. This book covers a variety of topics, most of which were not in any way applicable to my program. I gave this book three stars because I firmly believe that a book which calls itself "The Soccer Coaching Bible" should be far more usable by far more people than just the high-end club coaches (who frankly, probably don't need the help). There were some very useful discussions on tactics and strategy, but for the most part this book has sat on the shelf. Some very big name coaches contributed to this work, and there is a lot of information here, but most of it will be completely not useful to the majority of coaches who could really use a soccer 'bible'.

This book is great but I have not had timeto finish reading. All the topics are well done.

Nicely organized book for any soccer coach or aspiring coach. This covers ground that some books tend to miss. We've used this in our youth clinics and drill instruction. I enjoyed it and recommend it to anyone that will be putting time into the development of athletes and/or teams. We've move onto Football in that season as many people do but there are drills that translate into other sports. This includes Basketball and Baseball as the top-3. Again this is highly recommended and can help with strategy and scoring. Very appropriate.
