You'll need to buckle down to study this one as a text & not a reference book. If you don't have the attention span for a dense textbook, you'll wind up using this book as a reference text. If you're looking for something easier to study from, get: "Everything You Need To Know About the Music Business" by Donald Passman. A crucial text that goes way back to its first printing in 1969.

I definitely gained some insight into the ins and the outs of the music biz. What a Great read!
