As we join Fred Secombe, Vicar of Abergelly, for the tenth in this series of humorous accounts of his life and ministry in South Wales, he has recently been appointed the new Rural Dean.Two Vandals and a Wedding opens with the desecration of one of the churches in Fred's parish, and another church being burned to the ground. Who would commit such horrible crimes? Fred engages the local police force to solve the mystery, but can't help getting involved in the sleuthing himself. On a lighter note, he is presented with the happy problem of finding a house for Hugh, his curate, and Hugh's bride to be.

As with all of Secombe stories, Two Vandals is highly entertaining as he spins the tales of is life as Vicar. I hope he puts out another book b/c you just can't enough of Fred, his family, friends and townsfolk.
