If you need something to review anatomy for boards and you're a non-traditional learner, this is the text for you. It's clear cut and easy to read, the puzzles keep your interest and it's enough to jog your memory from A&P classes taken oh-so-long-ago. The diagrams are neat, and it's definately a write-in format. I wouldn't use it until you've taken A&P though, it's more of a review of what you've learned in depth already. Drawbacks: it's european, so for americans the spelling is all jacked up. This can be extremely distracting. Also, I would have preferred to see it spiral-bound...getting into the margins can be annoying at times. And there is not enough space to do the larger projects, such as making flow charts; you have to have seperate binder for that. Otherwise, a great book, a good addition to the review-book libraries.
