First time I got the Wallpaper series and found it superb for what it is. Not the usual guide with endless pages on history and details you need a month to go though. Short, concise, perfect for a short break where you only have little time to spend there and even less time to read. You will need a map separately though.

Last year we purchased the Paris guide and found it semi useful. The guide helped with finding the latest great restaurants. BUT Copenhagen ... I was so very disappointed with the guide. With a city that breaths good design and shopping I thought Wallpaper would have more to contribute. I went to all of the shops recommended by the book. One of which was closed (Modern 10a). Truth be told I should have checked that out before the trip (guide was published in 2006). BUT another store that highly recommended was so very tiny and the pictures did the store alot of justice!!! There was a restaurant named Korriander that we would have loved to have tried but it was only open for summer months (I think small details like this should always be in guides). I am going to stick with other guides for future trips....though esthetically most guides are not as nice Wallpapers.
